scION Tip Ca

6.0509.000  scION Tip Ca

Calcium-selective polymer membrane electrode tip on a thick-film basis with certificate

  • Ion-selective electrode tip specially developed for the titration of the calcium/magnesium hardness
  • Inexpensive tip on thick-film basis for regular replacement - an attractive solution, even for difficult samples with short sensor service life
  • Simple utilization: One titration suffices and the sensor is ready for use
  • Built-in quality: Individual serial number & Metrohm certificate

It is not always possible to tell by looking at an electrode or a titration curve, whether the sensor is still suitable for the desired analytic quality. Only the regular replacement of the sensor makes it possible to ensure that optimum analysis results can be obtained.

Metrohm is now offering a completely new sensor concept for the purpose of eliminating the risk of a gradual worsening of analysis quality. The new generation of ion-selective electrodes, the scION, is based on a modular concept. Whereas the electrode shaft, that is not critical for performance, can be used over and over again, an inexpensive sensor tip on a thick-film basis permits routine replacement, thus guaranteeing the best possible performance.
